Course Brief Description- The intent of this seminar is to:
Method of Presentation - The seminar is conducted in a group discussion setting with participation by attendees on points brought up by the instructor. Handouts are provided at the beginning of the seminar which includes copies of forms and contracts used in Land Trust creation. Instruction and practice in their use will be done within the seminar setting. Advanced creative development and use of land trusts for various scenarios will be discussed and recorded by the attendees.
Suggested Materials to bring - Approximately 10 sheets of blank paper and a pen or pencil are recommended along with something to use as a firm writing surface are recommended.
Completion Credit Requirement - Strict 90% attendance during presentation + 70% passing grade on open book examination which will cover 25 True/False and Multiple Choice questions. Time for the exam will be 30 minutes. Failure to complete either or both requirements will disqualify the student from granted credit. If there is time available at the end of the seminar to make up lost time or to retake a different examination and the instructor has the time to monitor the additional personal time, a $20 additional fee will be charged for the additional time of the instructor (payment made at time of request). If time or the instructor is not available and there is a currently approved date for a retake of the course, the student may register for the make up course for a $20 fee to be paid upon attendance at the retake of the course to be taken no less than 60 days following the initial seminar or all credit is forfeit.

open book examination.
It is strongly advised that all students
read that material before attending the seminar. Due to time constraints,
the test will include material in the handout that may not be specifically
covered in the seminar lecture. You will still be responsible for knowing
the written material on the test.
Cost of Seminar - $50.00 paid at beginning of seminar. A $10 rebate will be given at the seminar if payment is received no less than 10 calendar days prior to the scheduled seminar.

Additional Information - Since a complete training in the set up, management and creative use of Land Trusts in all situations is beyond the time limit of this seminar, the essential forms for establishment of a Land Trust will be furnished within the handout materials AND will be gone through for experience purposes. However, it must be understood and accepted that the instructor is NOT an attorney and is not there to give legal advice. The materials used are only part of larger range of documents that could be necessary for the operation of a Land Trust.
Additional Products Separate from the Seminar - A CD with a full set of additional forms will be available at the seminar for an additional fee of $50. This CD will have complete sets in Microsoft Word .doc format, Adobe Acrobat .pdf format, and WordPerfect .wpd format. However, it is not necessary for the seminar nor the training provided.
